The American Lung Association's Clinical Research Center network has 19 clinical centers that are examining the effectiveness of flu vaccines on asthma patients. In some cases, asthma patients who received the flu vaccine experienced greater decline in lung function than patients who did not receive the vaccine.

Techniques employed by filmmaker Renny Harlin in capturing car racing scenes for his film, "Driven" are presented. The director had cameras installed into cars of amateur drivers at various levels and angles and incorporated them with digital images to allow audiences to feel the intensity of such competitions.
