One man's wilderness

New Hampshire native John Kulish has lived off the land most of his 81 years, feeding his family from the wildlife there. When he applied for a janitorial job at a Boston University camp in NH, the staff realized he knew more about animal behaviour than anyone there. They hired him to teach college students.

Sweet harvest in South Hero
Article Abstract:
There were over 140 apple orchards a century ago in the Lake Champlain Islands in northern Vermont. Now there are just four, but they grow just as many apples as they ever did. Many are worked by a group of Jamaicans, who have brought the island's culture to the region, including cricket.
