Bob and Susan Jasses own a farm in Walpole, New Hampshire, where the enormous kitchen is also the dining and living room. Issues concerning the design of the kitchen are presented, with reference to Susan's cooking skills and classes, fresh produce and large dinner parties. Recipes are included.

Fishing for compliments
Article Abstract:
Dan George grew up in a large Lebanese family in Massachusetts and learned to love cooking, especially seafood. Although he now works as lawyer, his passion is still cooking. Several of his recipes are presented including squid salad, fish stew and stuffed quahogs.

New England, especially western Massachusetts, produces a great deal of apple cider. There are many more varieties of cider than people realize, as each apple breed or blends of them makes a different cider. Several recipes using apple cider are also included.
