The Knife River Ranch at North Dakota is ideal for city boys who have never ridden on a horse to learn some riding, roping and cattle driving during a working vacation. A vast, scoured of prairie grass, sag, and ancient cow pies that are dry and sun baked, could be seen when riding on the ranch home.

A cowboy's honor
Article Abstract:
A cowboy lost a spur that was loaned to him in 1950 and his guilt sent him back to the area of Oklahoma's Panhandle looking for the lost spur. The spur was recovered in 1991 after the land was converted to a wildlife refuge and the cowboy who lost the artifact received absolution.
