The Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School in East Cambridge, MA, has a culinary program that has won high praise. It serves lunches to the public and provides take-out food. Teacher and chef Jole LeGault enjoys serving ethnic foods from home recipes provided by students. The school's student body is quite diverse.

Newburyport, MA, is less than one hour north of Boston, MA, and is a blend of old buildings and new buildings. The town borders the Merrimack River, Plum Island and the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. A walking tour provides many interesting sites.

The Country Club in Brookline, MA, is the host for the 1999 Ryder Cup. The club was founded in 1882 as an equestrian club, and the golf course was added in 1893. Golf quickly became the preeminent sport at the club.
