Article Abstract:
When six-year-old Canadian schoolboy, Ryan Hreljac, leanred in school about the deaths of thousands of African children from drinking contaminated water, he decided to try to make a difference. He raised $70 to build a well in Africa, only to discover that the money would pay for a hand pump, but that a well would need around $2000, so he raised the money for the well, then a further $25,000 for machinery to make more wells.
