Two viewpoints are presented of whether Congress should approve the space exploration initiative. One view approves, saying we must continue space programs because of the technological benefits. The opposing view says that health research grants would make better use of the funds.

Space exploration: is it the worth the cost?

The US space exploration policy is raising howls over those who object to the project's tremendous costs. Those who support the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, however, say that the benefits more than outweigh the costs.
