Should Congress ease the product liability law?
Article Abstract:
Two opposing views on the Product Liability Fairness Act of 1991 are presented. Rep J. Roy Rowland of Georgia favors tha passage of a standard product liability law applicable to all states. Sen Richard Shelby of Alabama, on the other hand, feels that a standard law will violate states' rights to self-regulation.

An army hospital was no place to be spending V-J Day thought one wounded patient named Charlie Drew, who wanted to join the celebration in Modesto, CA, two miles away. His hospital bed with him in it was pushed by a few buddies a mile up the highway before police took them back to the hospital.
