Senators Spencer Abraham and John B. Breaux answer the question of whether Congress should make it harder to raise taxes. Abraham believes that the power of Congress to raise taxes should be curbed while Breaux says that this power cannot be altered since it is granted by the Constitution.

Should Congress keep the Selective Service System?
Article Abstract:
The Selective Service System may be an appropriate way of maintaining a database of men eligible for military duty in national emergency cases. An easier system would be to use national agencies' databases to provide a listing of those eligible for military service.
