Springtime adventures in Midwest state forests
Article Abstract:
Three Midwestern state forests, the Harrison-Crawford State Forest in Indiana, the Kettle Moraine State Forest in Wisconsin, and the Richard J. Dorer Memorial Hardwood State Forest in Minnesota, are described. All the parks offer excellent outdoor springtime activities.

Springtime in the Midwest brings with it a greater interest in state recreation areas. Three such areas, the Lewis and Clark State Recreation Area in South Dakota, the Mississinewa Lake in Indiana, and the Waterloo Recreation Area in Michigan, are described.
