The flood of political refugees and immigrants into Western Europe is causing severe cultural and economic problems in the region. An estimated 10 million to 12 million legal immigrants already reside in the region, and thousands more from Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East arrive daily.

Immigrants to Canada should not expect Canadians in the country to adjust to their way of life and languages. Rather, they are the ones who should adjust to the Canadian way of life. They should not have come to Canada if they were against Canadian customs.
