Community groups have traditionally raised money by compiling and selling cookbooks. Described here are cookbooks made available by the First Congregational Church of Newbury, VT, the Bancroft School Parent-Faculty Association of Worcester, MA, and the Vermont Game Wardens' Association.

Article Abstract:
The New England Kitchen food program has aimed to provide cheap and nutritious foods to immigrants but failed due to several factors such as different ethnic preferences. The lack of fresh fruits and vegetables has caused the program to be unpopular with the Italians.

Eight traditional handcrafts are taught at the North Bennet Street Industrial School, started in the year 1885. The schools association with 'Yankee Magazine Community Partners' is to facilitate public awareness of its missions.
