The 20th century was marked by such tumultuous events as the Holocaust and the dropping of the atomic bomb. Yet, all is not gloom and doom. The Coke bottle, Gandhi's non-violent resistance, green politics, hot running water, ice cream cones, the Internet and neon lights are some of the good things.
