Trade unionist Clive Jenkins left school at 14 to work in a metallurgical test house. He joined the Association of Scientific Workers, and at the age of 21 became assistant Midland divisional officer of the Association of Supervisory Staffs, Executives and Technicians. He was extremely self-confident, and rejected any criticism of his activities. However, he was also very generous to friends and colleagues. He eventually led the Association of Scientific, Technical and Managerial Staffs.

Home Depot Inc. shares have experienced a downtrend since early 1995. Insider selling was reported starting Aug. 1995 with four executives selling a total 37,947 shares even as a fifth insider indicated the sale of 6,000 shares more. Shares were offered at the $39 to $45 range. Home Depot offers a variety of home improvement products, building materials and garden supplies all over the US.
