The final statue
Article Abstract:
A giant clay model statue of painter Fitz Hugh Lane, which was sculpted by artist Alfred Duca, has been erected in a private park outside Lane's old house and studio in Gloucester, Massachusetts. After Duca's death in 1997, his widow Veronique had the sculpture bronzed, and raised the money to fund a park where it could be displayed.
