Jean Brush supposedly killed her husband Cecil, who had Alzheimer's disease, out of mercy and love for him, and received a suspended sentence. However, inconsistencies in her statements indicate she should not have been believed. Depression and despair do not justify mercy killing.

Doctors' deadly power

A study of euthanasia in the Netherlands showed that a growing number of doctors have begun withholding medical treatment from patients. One thousand deaths from an annual total of 130,000 were caused by physicians without the patient's permission.
