Saint Laurent will continue to work for Elf Sanofi, the company that purchased his fashion and cosmetic holdings. Saint Laurent and his partner, Pierre Berge, each received $72 million from the controversial stock purchase. Berge's political connections with Francoise Mitterrand are also discussed.

The riddle of Everest

A team of five American climbers, led by veteran mountaineer Eric Simonson, scaled the North Face of Mt Everest to solve the mystery of the death of British climber George Mallory and his protege, Sandy Irvine in 1924. They found out that Malory and Irvine failed to reach Mt Everest's peak.
