The shovel museum

The Shovel Museum is located at Stonehill College in North Easton, MA, and is home to about 800 shovels made by the Ames Shovel Co, which began in 1784. The company acquired many patents for innovative shovel design and at one time produced 60% of the world's shovels.

Not too big for little ones
Article Abstract:
Story Land in Glen, NH, is a wonderful amusement park for young children. The fairy tale motif will delight those familiar with classics like Cinderella, and the park is not too big as to be overwhelming. Admission and concessions are also very reasonable.

The night the dam broke
Article Abstract:
On Mar 13, 1996, a privately owned dam in the town of Alton, NH, burst, flooding the small town with over 92 million gallons of water, killing one and causing over $5 million in damages. Some the the flood's survivors describe the ordeal.
