The winter church
Article Abstract:
Blandford, MA, has two churches, one built in 1822 that is used during summer and another constructed in 1898 that is used during winter. The former, the White Church, hosts a Chicken Pie Dinner as spearheaded by the Ladies Benevolent Society, which is attended by about 90 people at 50 cents per person.

A king's legacy
Article Abstract:
A historian is amazed to find that a yard sale object he bought was a historic ball-headed war club believed to be owned by the Wampanoag Metacomet. He led a liberation uprising between 1675 and 1676 called 'King Philip's War.' The club was taken to the leader's grave, and then to the museum.
