Article Abstract:
Theorems, a famous folk art form with Americana collectors, is a series of stencil technique used parts brought together to create a greater art form, the stencil method form a flat areas of color with the slightest shading which provides a graphic quality to the theorems. The theorems done on velvet are exotic and highly collectible though with still lifes from baskets or compotes overflowing with fruits or flowers are most common themes but over time , the theorems tend to fade , stain or oxidize depending on the medium of color used which affects their values .

Water Colors
Article Abstract:
The Massachusetts based artist, Oren Sherman's paintings are based on water and historic houses many of which depicts locations near his home in Truro, a village near the very tip of Cape Cod. Oren, who is on the faculty of the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), has designed 8 United States postage stamps as well as posters for the Olympics and the Walt Disney Company.
