War, values and veterans
Article Abstract:
Resolution No. 169, the Support for the War on Terrorism, was unanimously passed throughout the convention hall wherein the American Legion urged all Americans and freedom-loving people everywhere to stand united in their global war on terrorism and in their support of troops who are engaged in protecting our values and way of life. The resolution authorizes the commander to use all means at his disposal to disseminate accurate information on the war on terrorism and to engage the means necessary to ensure united support of the American people.
