Wild animals among us
Article Abstract:
Bats, peregrine falcons and other animals are increasingly finding their way into urban areas. The growth of urban wildlife is caused by the changing attitudes regarding the relationship between civilization and nature. In addition, the loss of habitat is causing wildlife to move closer to human domains.

Is the tiger doomed?

Tiger populations in Asia are rapidly decreasing because of habitat lost and pouching. Efforts to protect tigers should focus on eliminating the illicit trade of tiger products and on preserving its natural habitats.
