Coordination of environmental policy for transboundary environmental problems?
Article Abstract:
An international environmental agreement is needed to achieve a Pareto optimal result with transboundary or transitional environmental problems. The international environmental agreement should emphasize on emissions in every country, focusing on whether the agreement should be supplemented with some type of policy coordination or be unilaterally decided by each country. Pareto optimality, during 'ideal' conditions, can be reached even without coordinated policies among countries.
