Disruption versus tiebout improvement: the costs and benefits of switching schools
Article Abstract:
The reasons for changing schools by children in their academic year in United States are presented. The effects of this mobility of students to different schools are examined. Economists stress that the Tiebout mobility enhances school quality (SQ). The UTD Texas Schools Project data is used to bring out the study results on these effects.
