Securing phones means prevention and vigilance
Article Abstract:
Telephones should be secured from fraudulent practice that let somebody call into a business and misrepresent himself in order to secure access to an outside line. Viking Electronics Inc's Model TR-1 toll restrictor enables supervisors bypass the unit by a secret code composed of six digits. Meanwhile, Norcross, GA-based Zeus Phonstuff's Caller ID Interface Unit can capture caller ID prior to answering the phone and it permits data capture on all lines simultaneously.
