Intergenerational transfer, production and income distribution
Article Abstract:
The intergenerational transfers from parents to their children are motivated by "altruism", which are two types of transfers, investment of parents in the education of their offspring and the capital transfers. It has been shown that the intensity of each type of altruism, and the composition of the two types of transfers, effect the equilibrium output of the intergenerational income distribution.
