Legislators in the laboratory
Article Abstract:
The Legislator in the Laboratory program started in Idaho, under which policymakers visit laboratories and work along with academic researchers in order to get first hand experience of the research work carried out, is described. Such participation helps legislators in getting a better understanding of academic research.
