Mentoring programs that work

The mentoring program run by the California Franchise Tax Board is one of the most successful in the State. The scheme allows a hundred employees to team up with children in schools in Sacramento and trains them with mentoring skills.

Issues are presented concerning the growing levels of voter apathy among young people and Latin-Americans living in California. The increased levels of spending on political campaigns and falling voter numbers are discussed.
