Re-entry policy council revamps Web site
Article Abstract:
A redesigned re-entry policy council Web site was launched by the Council of State Governments Justice Center that allows quick access to media coverage, field announcements, publications and upgraded tools and materials on a range of re-entry issues. The council plans to include Web-based tools addressing issues on assessing the risks and needs of people who are incarcerated or released from jail/prison as well as federal benefits and cash assistance programs.

Report sheds light on states' teacher pay
Article Abstract:
The Quality Counts 2008 report compared salaries of teachers to those of 16 other jobs that required similar skill sets, and found out that their salaries were less than those professions in 40 states in the U.S. Details of the report are discussed.
