US legislators met in Boston to think about the economic potentials and benefits of biotechnology. The nature of the biotechnology industry depends on well-educated and highly-trained workers. Lawmakers exchanged views on what is needed to push the industry forward such as improving education, funding and forming multi-state partnerships.
