Lieutenant Governor
Article Abstract:
The race for California Lieutenant Governor remains a silent one as the two major candidates, Republican Tim Leslie and Democrat Cruz Bustamante, find themselves out of funds to efficiently run a statewide campaign. However, congeniality and determination to serve the public, for which both Leslie and Bustamante are known, may serve the two candidates in good stead as they resort to walking and knocking on doors to court votes. Bustamante may benefit from the newly mobilized Latino voters, while Leslie may gain favor from the sex scandal that Pres Clinton has figured in.
