The housing market impact of state-level anti-discrimination laws, 1960-1970
Article Abstract:
The housing-market impact of state-level anti-discrimination laws in the 1960s was measured with the use of household-level and census-tract data. Although it was evidenced that African-American renters may have benefited from the laws, their housing-market outcomes, level of residential segregation and property value in their neighborhood had insignificant effects.

Drawing inferences about housing supply elasticity from house price responses to income shocks
Article Abstract:
The facts about the long-term housing supply flexibility are presented. A vector error correction (VEC) method is applied, which indicates an elastic long-term supply activity but with a slow adjustment speed, that may produce a drastic effect on housing prices in response to an unexpected change in income and demand.
