Vic Fazio on the run
Article Abstract:
The redistricting of California is threatening Democratic Rep Vic Fazio's chances of being reelected to the House of Representatives. Fazio's new district is seen as conservative, a contrast to his liberal image. However, Democratic Party stalwarts in the state say that Fazio's controversial opponent H.L. Richardson has no chance of winning against him. Republican Party leaders believe otherwise. Fazio says that he is not underestimating Richardson's capability to win.
