Voting under ignorance of job skill of unemployed : the overtaxation bias
Article Abstract:
According to the model on voting over basic income-flat tax schedules it is assumed that, the workers know the whole distribution of skills, even if at equilibrium, some individuals do not work. Hence, the individuals vote according to their beliefs which are updated when they get new information from the job market.
