Article Abstract:
Business process reengineering offers materiel management professionals in the healthcare industry a means of identifying and developing alternatives for minimizing costs and improving business practices. The approach, which requires the establishment of a materiel management reengineering team, should look at new ways of enhancing the acquisition, receiving, storage and distribution of supplies.
