Screening the preventable illness
Article Abstract:
Using a myopia model, this research attempts to explore how financial incentives can correct suboptimal health choices. The research shows that when screening and prevention are coincident, a subsidy equal to one minus the discount factor to both screening and intervention is indicated.

Statistical discrimination in health care

Research into the role of statistical discrimination in health care is given. After comparison, the research shows that racial and ethnic disparities in health care exist and could contribute to statistical discrimination.
