Finlay, MS, APRN, CCRN, CS, cardiovascular nurse practitioner, Veterans Administration Medical Center, Salt Lake City, Utah, means she has forever changed the course of practice. Susan Quaal has received many awards, but more important, without her global influence cardiovascular nurses would not have been able to develop the level of life-saving expertise in balloon pumping they have achieved.
