Health and the cost of nongroup insurance
Article Abstract:
Selection bias for nongroup insurance is estimated through a statistical model to measure whether the insurance premiums vary with health status. Results indicate that the chances of purchasing nongroup insurance is about 50% lower for people with fair or poor health compared to people with excellent health.

The Community Tracking Study integrates factors such as the health care market, the types of providers, the development of risk-sharing as well as non-profit enterprises and the adoption of technology.
