50-Hertz magnetic field and calcium transients in Jurkat cells: results of a research and public information dissemination (RAPID) program study
Article Abstract:
Research shows that while preselected individual Jurkat cells demonstrated a high calcium transient response rate when exposed to a 50-Hertz magnetic field, no such response was found upon examining multiple cells simultaneously in a blind, random fashion. Further studies are recommended.

Dielectric changes in membrane properties and cell interiors of human mesothelial cells in vitro after crocidolite asbestos exposure
Article Abstract:
Research shows that changes to the cellular membrane surface property of human mesothelial cells result from exposure to crocidolite fibers in asbestos. Interior dielectric changes were also detected.
