Article Abstract:
Philip Bradfield took up bodybuilding in 1967 after four and a half years in the Marine Corps. However, Bradfield's post-traumatic stress disorder, a result of his Vietnam War experiences, led him to abuse drugs and alcohol. Bradfield is again into competitive bodybuilding after undergoing detoxification.

Frustration with his country's training program led Cuban weightlifter Lorenzo Alderate to defect from Cuba and seek new life in the US as a competitive bodybuilder. Alderate is slowly realizing his dream, working out at Sergio's gym in Miami, FL.
