Management of severe mental illness and substance misuse
Article Abstract:
Dual diagnosis or SMISUD is the condition of the coexistence of severe mental illness (SMI) as well as substance use disorder (SUD) in the same person. The prevalence and complexity of the condition is discussed, as also assessment and long-term treatment and care planning for management of SMISUD.

Using family group conference in mental health

The importance and the role of the family group conference (FGC) in mental health care of patients are discussed. The author shows that FGC has a positive impact on the patients and helps in reducing the isolation of people from the society.
