A comparative study of two types of urinary sheath
Article Abstract:
The newly developed Conveen Optima urinary sheath is compared with the established Clear Advantage urinary sheath in terms of patient satisfaction and preference. The new Conveen Optima urinary sheath was found to perform better than the well-established Clear Advantage sheath as it provided a higher feeling of security and was easier to handle and apply.

Use of urinary sheaths in male incontinence
Article Abstract:
The difficulties related with promoting continence in men are analyzed and the manner in which urinary sheaths can offer an appropriate management option for incontinence is demonstrated. The patients however need to be reassured that the sheath system is reliable, removable, easily changeable and harmless.

Care of urinary catheters and drainage systems
Article Abstract:
The study focuses on the practices that should be adopted by the staff and the patients to take care of urinary catheters and their drainage systems in the best possible way. The use of disposable, non-drainable night-bags for the purpose is still an issue of debate.
