A key role in smoking cessation
Article Abstract:
The US government has invested huge amount of resources into health education and smoking cessation services in an effort to reduce smoking prevalence to 21 percent by 2010. Experts believe that the nurses have key role in smoking cessation as they can use brief, opportunistic interventions to identify smokers and refer them on for specialist help where appropriate.

Article Abstract:
Nurses may come across situations when they would have to offer assistance at road traffic incidents while they are away from duty. The first aid skills that would help a nurse confront such a situation are presented.
