A newly discovered human pneumovirus isolated from young children with respiratory tract disease
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on the paramyxovirus identified as a member of the Metapneumovirus genus based on the virological data. The isolation of this paramyxovirus from the young children in Netherlands has been carried out and the results indicate that all the children in the Netherlands have been exposed to the human metapheumovirus which has been circulating in humans for at least 50 years.
