A nursing perspective on the misuse of anabolic steroids
Article Abstract:
The use of anabolic steroids has become prevalent in the athletic community despite of a ban by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Hence, the nurses should have knowledge about the anabolic steroid abuse since it will allow them to inform the users of the damaging side effects and the long-term health risk associated with it.
