Spectrum of disease and relation to place of exposure among ill returned travelers
Article Abstract:
Database was used to verify the assumption that the destination of travel is associated with the probability of each diagnosis among travelers returning from the developing world. Results reveal that when patients present to specialized clinics after travel to the developing world, travel destinations are associated with the probability of the diagnosis of certain diseases.

Staphylococcus aureus sepsis and the Waterhouse-Friderichsen syndrome in children
Article Abstract:
A report on three children, who died after speedy progressive clinical weakening caused by the Staphylococcus aureus infection is presented. Bilateral adrenal hemorrhage was detected at autopsy, which is a feature of the Waterhouse-Friderichsen syndrome, a group of findings commonly connected with fulminant meningococcemia.
