Article Abstract:
Paperwork is frequently considered a burden for a nurses, but it is essential for patient care and for those involved in that care, including agency nurses. Records should be kept in a straightforward, logical and methodical way, and should be easy to update. A good filing system for records is also important. Computerized notes can be useful but are not always accessible, which means that paper documentation is vital.
