Abnormal placentation: Twenty-year analysis
Article Abstract:
A study was undertaken to determine whether the rate of abnormal placentation is increasing in conjunction with the cesarean rate and to evaluate incidence, risk factors, and outcomes. The rate of placenta accreta increased in conjunction with cesarean deliveries, the most important risk factors were previous cesarean delivery, previa, and advanced maternal age.

Failed vaginal birth after a cesarean section: how risky is it?
Article Abstract:
Pregnant women who are unable to have a vaginal birth after a previous cesarean are more likely to experience uterine rupture and other complications than women who have a successful vaginal birth after a cesarean. However, only one percent of all the women developed uterine rupture so the risk is still relatively small.

Obesity as a risk factor for failed trial of labor in patients with previous cesarean delivery
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to determine whether obesity is a risk factor for failed trial of labor (TOL) in women with previous cesarean delivery (CD). Obesity is an independent risk factor failed TOL in patients with previous CD.
