Achieving optimum retention for restorations
Article Abstract:
The various types of mechanical retentive methods available are discussed and suggestions are made about the use of bonding agents. It was stated that potholes or channels could be used to assist retention for restorations and buildups or in any other situation requiring additional retention.

Remaining challenges with class II resin-based composite restorations
Article Abstract:
The prevalent problems regarding the use of class II resin-based composites as restorative materials are discussed. Suggestions are provided for changes in the materials and techniques used to overcome the problems in order to enable their widespread use.

The reasons for the domination of Full-Crown restorations over conservative tooth restorations are discussed. The financial and longevity implications offered by more conservative restorative dentistry, are also discussed.
