Acute pancreatitis
Article Abstract:
The case study of a 56-year-old woman presented with acute pancreatitis suffering from severe epigastric pain and vomiting is reported. Clinical guidelines are presented for immediate considerations, which include assessment of the severity and cause of the condition. Nasoenteric feedings are recommended for most patients with severe pancreatitis while among patients whose condition is stable, such feedings should be started within two or three days after presentation.
